Hello,

I was just thinking that is it possible to just host the website on your servers and for emails I can use my local machine if I sign up for a shared hosting package with you?

Yes, it is possible to host your website on the server and access the emails on your local machine. In order to do that, you need to configure the MX Records for a particular domain. Basically, the MX Records point the server, on which the mails are configured for a particular domain.
