As you all must be aware of computers use Internet Protocol (IP) Addresses, which are a series of numbers used to identify each other on the Internet. In past many people found it difficult to remember IP Addresses and so the domain names were developed to make things easier.

Domain names are unique and can not be used simultaneously by any other person. If you take it in online business sense your domain name is brand for you over the Internet. With your domain name your website and email addresses for example will have that professional look being unique to your business. I've seen people not giving much importance to their domain name until they lose it. Once this happens they realize that they have lost their whole online identity.

My recommendation to all would be, understand the importance of your identity, renew the domains on time and never let your brand expire in the world of Internet.
