    Default actual server name

    i have just started with a hyper-v cloud server, i want to use the sendblaster software to send large quantities of emails, in the sendblaster software it asks me to input my smtp server name, i have tried all combinations but it doesnt work, can any help

    You may try using either the server's IP address or mail.yourdomainname.com.

    If you still aren't able to get it going, please let us know the error that is generated, this should help us identify the exact issue.

    sendblaster requires authentication to be ticked, but when you try and send you get an error message which is "server replied with invalid authentication response".

    If i untick the box the mail sends but does not arrive

    Many [ACLs] email service providers like AOL, Yahoo, Gmail etc do regularly check for the server's name and its rdns. Make sure that your server has a valid hostname and also the rDNS is properly set for it.
