    Default support and shift change

great now had a shift change and getting nowhere fast.

I have an 500 internal server error on all my sites on my server.

this was caused by switching on the error reporting in php configuartion editor.

switching it back off did nothing.

this feature used to work and now doesnt, yet when I ask what yoiu have changed I get the answer nothing.

I am getting tired of one problem after another, always being told it wont happen again.

why was something changed on my server without me being notified, hell I may not understand the change but I maybe able to save your support some time if I know a certain function was lost after a change was made.

    Thanks

    Hi,
Do you actually know what you are doing?

Now I cant log on to my server using trhe password and login details I had been using.(blocked by brute force in the end.

You have changed my sites so that the file permissions need to be 777 to get parts of it to work, which means they are unsecure?

PLEASE PLEASE get things back to how they were before one of youre updates knackered things up.

I am told the updates to control panel were/ are automatic and this is where the issue of the error reporting stems from, but as your attempt to address this problem has resulted in unable to log into the server and that the file permissions need to be 777 to get things to work that used to run on 755, I am at my wits end.

I asked yesterday evening to Patrick, to get the site back to how it was and then have a look at the error reporting problem eUK #AWZ-37988-127., but it isnt back to how it was and I can not check the error reporting problem either as I cant access my server.

trying your onloine chat but still waiting for operator

Wayne , the ticket AWZ-37988-127 was replied on same day by myself after fixing php configuration problem. The server was not showing any old php configuration settings , so it was rebuild without suPHP as your sites were having 777 folder permissions for few folders.

Also I requested you see if there is any further issues and get back to us in the same ticket .The problem could be , on the same day our new helpdesk was launched so you might haven't received the update/reply.

I see that one of our tech has already re-build your server with suPHP so please let us know if you see see any issues related to error logging so that we could look into it.
