    Default Ticket response times

I raised a ticket (FPX-39806-712) for some support on my VPS server over 7 hours ago and there is still no response.

Have the previous very fast answers to my queries made my expectations too high?

    Hello,

One of our Senior Admin has just replied you in the ticket. The problem seems to be with PHP modules which were not complied properly and fixing each and every module took sometime. Now we have fixed every module and recompiled PHP.

Please accept our apologies for the delay in reply to your Ticket.

Unfortunately the original problem still seems to exist - I have replied via the ticket with details.

Hi Brian.. the problem with the PHP executable appears to be corrected & the necessary PHP modules are compiled properly now..

Unfortunately I am still seeing problems & the slow ticket responses are just making my frustration worse.

Fortunately this is not a live VPS server - I am just using it as a test bed to configure Magento, but I hate to think how I would feel if real customers were trying to use the system.

I am now being told that the system, that was running seemingly ok on 386Mb of ram, now needs to be upgraded beyond the 1Gb that is now enabled and is still showing "out of memory errors".

I just do not believe that more memory will solve the "out of memory errors". I suspect that there is a more fundamental problem that just compiling PHP again did not solve.

Many apologies for the rant, but I feel that I am not getting the message across via the ticket route & I hope that someone here may be able to help.

It now looks like the situation has been resolved and fully explained by John Rodrick. Sometimes I just need to be lead by the nose a little

This evening John has been able to respond very quickly and this makes the whole situation much less frustating.

Many thanks for your help John.
