Google Checkout Issues

Hello,

I decided to return to eukhost after 4 years as I am starting a new website. I paid via google checkout but Eukhost refuses to acknowledge the payment has been recieved and says that google is still processing the order? Is this normal? I have recieved confirmation from google that payment has been taken.

Its been over 4.5 hours since my order and i was looking to get setup asap.

Has anyone else experienced this?

ok issuse resolved, it took over 5 hours for pament to confirm. My suggestion to eukhost is to put a notice on the checkout system to warn customers (Google checkout payments may take up to xx hours to process)

Dear Mr.Patel,

Generally speaking, Google Checkout do takes approx 30 mins in order to get the Order and payment verified. By going through the Order history of Google Checkout, it shows that Google Checkout received your payment order at 17:48. By the time the Order got received, Google Checkout sends an 'order confirmation email' to the email ID which is provided while processing the payment. Client's need to accept/approve the Order through it.

As soon your Order got received at 17:48, Google Checkout sent you the 'Order Confirmation email' at your primary email ID with us in billing system. Google Checkout has their own way to verify an Order as well as the payment done. To be honest, usually the delay in processing the payment using Google Checkout happens mostly due to delay in acceptance/approval of 'Order Confirmation email'.

The Authorization of your Order got successful and passed all the risk checks at 22:25. The time we received your payment, our billing system has sent you the payment confirmation email at your primary email address.

Both the accounts are free and can be set up easily. Both the accounts also require you to link and verify a credit card before starting out. PayPal is the well renowned and widely trusted payment channel and eCommerce. PayPal holds the dominance over 80% of the Online eCommerce. The disadvantage with Google Checkout is that it is still not widely accepted.

It's highly recommended to use PayPal if already have one or else you can choose Google Checkout option for Online transactions.
