Is there a way to have mplayer and Mencoder install on one site and have it work on another? This is my problem. Host A is my current provider. But will not let me or install mplayer or mencoder on the host. Host B i have it install and they fine with it. Host A gives me unlimited storage and bandwidth. Host B doesnt! Can i use the complete path to mplayer and mencoder from Host B and make it work on Host A? I hope i explain this right. Im a female and dont know about all this stuff.

Hi Sandy,

Unfortunately, you'd need to have both the sites hosted on the same server which have the mplayer & mencoder applications installed on, it's not possible/feasible to have a remote site use/call them as done with local ones..

yeh i agreed on the same server its quite impossible for both to work independently.
