    Default Enkompass Controlpanel for windows by Cpanel

    Has anyone here tried Enkompass Controlpanel for windows by Cpanel? Though am aware of the fact that it is still in its beta testing phase,but have heard that they have already started letting folks play with it.

    Am sure most of the forum mates would be happy to know more about the new control panel for Windows. Wish that they make an official release this Christmas

    There are mixed reviews about cPanel Enkompass.
    Interface is much similar to WHM/cpanel, just few icons are dressed up
    Most important feature of cPanel Enkompass is the ability to setup cluster of Windows based cPanel servers offering your more freedom and flexibility to expand.

    I think the most awaited feature of cPanel Enkompass will be the migration procedure from cPanel of Linux as this would determine the number of users switching from Windows to Linux hosting packages

    Catherine, As of now there's no mean to transfer from Enkompass to cPanel or vice-versa. cPanel have added this feature in their 'Requested Features List' and they are still working on it. Hope to see this amazing option very soon.

    I go with Harry!

    If Enkompass version of cPanel is still being tested, I don't think that this is right time to talk about migration from Windows to Linux or Linux to Windows.

    Also, if cPanel finalizes the Enkompass version then hardly few will think of migrating. The reason for this would be the control panel; they would have User-friendly Enkompass version of cPanel to manage all their hosting needs.

    Atlast, we can come to the conclusion only once its testing is completed and the updated version is available to use as a control panel on Windows servers.
