GoDaddy.com and FTP Questions?

I just got a website name as a gift, but I have no idea how to edit it. I'm trying to use this program called FileZilla, but I don't know my "host", "FTP username and password" and my "port". I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me what to do to make my website what I want it to be. Thanks!

You must get in touch with your hosting provider to know the details. Before you do so, I'd suggest you to go through the Welcome Email that your host might have sent to you at the time of sign-up.

I have always gotten one of those introductory emails that Matt mentioned with any domain name I've gotten. The person who bought your domain name for you, hopefully, has a record of any passwords or IDs they used, so they can pass them along to you. Maybe they can forward any emails they might have gotten, too.
