Not sure what web hosting solution you've hosted your website/s. But, if its a Shared server then you need to ask your hosting provider to do that for you.
Whereas if its a VPS or any higher hosting you can change the skin via WHM.
WHM >> Account Functions >> Modify an Account >> Select the account you wish to change from the list >> Modify >> Alter Account Settings >> Theme >> X2 >> Save

Thanks Matt. What if I wish to change the cPanel theme or skin for all the hosted domains?

You can change the cPanel skin of all the hosted domains with the help of the following steps:

    1. Login into WHM.

    2. Click on "Edit Packages" under Packages.

    3. Select the package you wish to edit.

Note:- The package which is originally used to create cPanel accounts is to be selected here.

    4. Now select "Edit Package".

    5. Below, "Edit Package", select "Cpanel Theme".

    6. Finally, choose the preferred skin and click "Edit".

    7. You're done

    Thanks guys.

I am currently on a shared plan with eUKhost so any chance for me to be able to change the skin myself or will I need to contact support department for this?

If you have a cPanel shared hosting plan with EUKhost, you need to contact the Technical support dept to change the cPanel skin. You can submit a ticket to the technical support dept or contact them via live chat and get the cPanel skin changed

Once you get that changed from the support and if you've bookmarked your cPanel URL in your browser, don't forget to change the bookmark since the url too would change along with the cPanel theme.

Matt, could you please elaborate more on this? I have been using the default skin all this while and this is the first time I am planning to change the skin, how will this effect the URL change?

    You are

Its a general practice of bookmarking the URL's that we use frequently. Similarly, some might bookmark their cPanel URL as well. But, when you change the cPanel default theme/skin (or the theme that was present when you bookmarked it) there is a change in the URL as well. Post the theme change, that URL would not be accessible.

So, it is good to make the relevant modifications in the bookmarked URL as well when you get the cPanel control panel theme changed.

Is it possible to get more skins for control panel or only the default skins are available?

There are some skins available for cPanel as standard which can be used. However, there are no more skins which can be purchased and used.

You can purchase cPanel themes or you can even develop your own themes/skins as per your likings.

But I would recommend you not to waste your time in it. cPanel themes hardly play any role in its core usability or purpose.

Absolutely. The visitors cannot see the cPanel skin as they won't have access to cPanel control panel and neither the skin affects the performance of the website or has any concern with it. Therefore, it's better not to waste time in looking for cPanel skins.

Thanks for the detailed explanations, guys. I've just followed your instructions and changed my cPanel skin.

However, purchasing new skins would be interesting. Where can they be purchased from? Are they expensive? I've always used the default cPanel skin so far, so I'm kind of new to this...

The default cpanel skin installed/bundled is indeed nice, but just if you (or your clients) need some colourful GUI experience & ease to manage the hosting part, you can opt for a different one of your liking

RVSkin & Cpskins are few good sites where you can buy some real nice cpanel skins & you'll get few for free too..
