    Default Ssh

    Hi,

I recently had my reseller account moved to a server that's supports SSH but I am still having problems connecting to it.

I keep getting an error message "connection timed out", I have tried both putty and SSH from fedora 10 and both dont work.

I went to cpanel and generated a new SSH key which I then authorised, I then clicked "view /download" in the private key section and typed in my passphrase which gave me a .ppk.

I added it to putty by going to "connection >> SSH >> Auth" I then filled in the details of the "session" section as follows

    Hostname : zapplehosting.co.uk
    Port: 22
    Connection type: SSH

In linux i used ssh-add to add the ppk file and i then type ssh zapplehosting.co.uk to try and connect but it still doesn't work.

I also tried my cpanel username@zapplehosting.co.uk but that didnt work either.

Any ideas on what im doing wrong?

    Thanks
    Mike

    Thumbs up

    Hello ,

We have enabled shell access for your domain zapplehosting.co.uk and you have to access it with putty.

I have sent the details of your ssh access at your registered email address [email address removed].
