Lol. Well Mark, the distance between to base station in the valley and the summit may be 20 miles direct line of sight but driving wise is around 80 miles. And it's also not fun and games as the summit is over 14,000ft so you're dealing with altitude sickness at that point. But I'm not complaining as it's fun!

And yes, it showed up there the other day. We have a controllable IP cam at one of the stations so we can see what's going on.

    Thumbs up Hello

    Hello,

Nice link The home networker can choose from either wireless or wired designs. Wireless networks provide more mobility to a person in and around their home, and they make especially good sense for laptop networking

Networks with wires or cables, on the other hand, usually cost less than wireless, may perform faster and more reliably, and make good sense for desktop networking.

Choosing between wired and wireless options can be difficult, but making an informed decision here can save money and increase one's overall satisfaction with their home network.

Right.... And since when has a home link been over 20 miles? As it happens I got this all sorted out by just putting some 1W amplifiers in there. I wouldn't suggest putting your head in the beam though. Lol.
