I used to get loads of spam everyday... since I added spamassin I get roughly upto 5 a day now.

Some very intersting one recently was where they spelled Viagra etc downwards with non spamable words in a colour the same as the background e.g
    [Very]
    [Intelligent]
    [Apple]
    ...
    ..

I have activated both akismat and spam karma2 plugin for my blogs, spam is under control in some extent but yet could not get rid from potential spammers those posing as genuine users. They use reputed site url such as google.com/live.com in website address while commenting to avoid getting filtered by antispam tools and leaving bunch of spammy links in comment.

That is a reasonably intelligent trick for the stupid people that spam!

I get around 20 a day across all my addresses that arn't flagged as spam. Which is very good. I don't get them to auto delete as I'm always worried that one time a really important e-mail will get tagged accidently and then auto deleted and I'll never know .

Yes, I know what you mean, I've experienced things like this on my forums / blogs also. At the end of the day spam can never be eliminated in these cases without restricting the actions of genuine users. Its a fine balance.
