Default What browser do you use the most?

It's great that we have a good choice of web browsers to choose from, from Google Chrome to Firefox to Internet Explorer to Opera and Safari. Just as a discussion, feel free to vote in the poll and post what browser you use the most . We see these threads on a lot of forums on "what browser do you use?" but what the heck, might as well have another thread about it .

I use Safari on Mac OS X and Firefox on Windows.

I also agree that multiple choices should be given in Poll... As I too use multiple browsers. Mostly FireFox & Opera.

Whoops...my bad. Can't exactly restart the poll since people have voted in it!

Anyway, which one do you prefer out of Firefox and Opera? I quite like Opera, it seems fast to me (loading websites), and has a built-in Mail and Torrent client as well as great themes.

I have FireFox, Chrome, Safari, Opera and IE on my windows OS and Firefox, Opera, Chrome on my Fedora Linux.

I mostly use FireFox due to multiple features and favorite addons support.
When it comes to browser compatibility issue and experiment, I have to open all others frequently

I voted for Safari since I use my Mac most . Will be interesting to see Mozilla's claim of up to 50% less memory usage in FF7 - I might even check out the nightly builds to see!

That would be a dream come true! No more having to restart periodically to get CPU usage down. I request a full report from you Ben! .

It is annoying. At one point I saw it using 750MB of RAM. Talked to a few people on some other forums about it and one of the guys said that's normal nowadays. I checked Safari usage and he was right . Although right now Safari is using just 250MB of RAM - though I bet that'll shoot up if I have more than 4 tabs open .

Still on Firefox 4.* on my main box. Im not going to upgrade to a new flavour every month and a half to find extensions not working. My main box will always be 2 to 3 releases behind under Firefox's horrible new setup.

My work box is IE 8 and Firefox 6 (which I find terribly slow to launch and will downgrade to 5 which ran OK on this box)

That is wise, I tend to keep one computer completely up to date and one computer that gets updated as and when I'm satisfied that there are no issues.

I definitely didn't click IE!!! lol. That would be a lie considering I am on my Mac most of the time. (However, for a laugh I guess I could try the extremely exploited and bug ridden IE for Mac 5.2 ).

However, as for working for Bill, I'd definitely do that. His salaries are worth you selling your soul to the devil roflmao.

That's good to know. However, by now, it'd be like purposely injecting a multi virus installer onto your computer lol. No updates for it in around 5 years?? .
