    Default Does the keywords with low competition work for sales?

    Once a good set of keywords have been agreed upon through the use of the keyword tools, you should then focus on the keywords that have a low or reasonable amount of competing web pages. The lower the competition is, then the more chance of achieving higher ranks,what do you think about this?Does the keywords with low competition work for sales?Your opinion?

    Yes, I agree that the lower the competition the chances of ranking higher are more, but most of the people use the keywords that has more competition as they get the best results.

    Yes, its always good to search for low competition keywords. The interesting thing to watch it how they enter the web page with various combinations of keywords.

    Most of the visitors on the site enter the popular keywords of the specific niche, especially the ones who are not very familiar with the internet and search engines. Hence, it is important to concentrate on primary keywords first after which one can concentrate on other keywords. Optimizing the keywords with less competition can prove to be a good benefit as the visitors of the website will increase and thus the sales.

    You are right buddy that lower competition keywords helps in increasing the ranks more easily but people prefer those keywords which have higher competition because those keywords generates more traffic to your website..!!

    Whether your website ranked well for high competition keywords or less competition keywords, do that position actually convert into sales lead is the main question.

    Seems you are under the impression of some idiotic theories on the Internet regarding to SEO and thinking that the only way to get traffic and sales is from search engines. So I would suggest you to concentrate on products and services that you are selling. Do some research on the niche you are targeting along with competitor analysis and then start looking at marketing.
