    Default Number of Parked Domains

If I understand correctly parked domains generally redirect to the main website, something like Googel.com will be redirected to Google.com. If this is right then how many parked domains is necessary for our website to have?

I think parked domains are those which doesn't redirect to anywhere but shows ads if some one visit that domains so you get revenue.

Parking a domain is just like resting your domain on some other domain...

    In other words--

Parked domains function as pointing devices. When a user enters the address for a parked domain, it is redirects to the main domain on which it is parked.

If abc.net is parked on abc.com, abc.com will be accessed when abc.net is entered into the web browser

So in short it is done in order to make profit from domain while you design the site, and to also improve the value for your domain as traffic { hits } eventually will get increased.

To add a parked domain, please do the following:
    1. Login to cPanel and click the Parked Domains icon.
    2. In the box to the right of New Domain Name, provide the domain name for which you would like to park on
    top of your primary domain.
    3. Click Add Domain.
Things to be remembered before parking a domain :
    *Register the domain

*Make sure the Name Servers at the Registrar point to server DNS.

*Add the domain only once from your Control Panel as either a Parked

Thanks for the quick tutorial there EukPhil. My understanding about parked domains is correct then. Can we have as many parked domains? (for the purpose of getting hits to the main domain.) Or is there a limit to the parked domains that we can register?

I buy 3 letter ones and sell then for hundreds of thousands.

Im not saying how or which ones i sold but i sold one for 120,000 dollars.

Im putting most of it torwards my site though, for hosting costs + other stuff, that way i can become a huge site.

That is quite a feat you made there. 120 grand for just one website. I thought most 3-letter domains are already taken or use as parked domains.

Are we going to register all the parked domains that we want to use?
