Thumbs up [ #CKR-34883-820]: Request for Feedback

Good support from the technical department. Fast response, job well done. This is the good thing.
The bad thing I needed to install phpbb forum. I found an old version 2.0 vulnerable to attacks. Hope EUKHost will migrate to 3.0 version. Until then I keep finger crossed.

Since I have a little experience with Linux, I appreciated CPanel can do the job for me. I installed 3.0.5 version on Windows Server 2003 and it works fine. But I didn't dare on Linux. Maybe the install steps are the same:
    -create a MySQL database
    -create a folder under .httpdocs
-unzip the installation in that folder
    -run install.php
If this is the case, I will give a try.

Seems like you're in a similar situation to me - Windows experience but little Linux experience. I would imagine that as long as you get the databse set up and named correctly, there shouldn't be a problem. If there is, deleting the folder and database should undo it.

And eUKhost are really good at fixing the problems when it all goes wrong
