Default How to transfer domain name?

    Hello,

A domain transfer is, in effect, to transfer domain name from the management under one registrar to another registrar. As a registrar is only responsible for the management of your domain records, this transfer should in no way affect your website, relevant email or DNS.How to transfer domain name?

Transferring a domain basically means handling the management of the domain to another company for any reason. The domain transfer procedure for different domain TLD's is different.

For generic TLD domains like .com, .net, .org etc. the domain owner has to get the EPP code/Authorization code of the domain name from the current domain registrar and provide it to the new domain registrar, whereas, for second level domains like .co.uk, .org.uk etc. the domain owner has to get the IPS tags of the new domain registrar, provide it to the old domain registrar and ask them to update the IPS tags of the domain after which it's transferred.

Can someone please let me know how much time does it take for a domain transfer. I wish to transfer both .com and co.uk domain to eukhost and let me know the transfer cost for the same.

    Hello,

You can transfer .com and .co.uk domain to eUKHost. The transfer charges are £7.49 GBP for .com domain and £10.00 GBP for .co.uk domain. You may send an email to billing[@]eukhost.com for more details.

It may take upto 5-7 days to transfer .com domain and 24-48 hours to transfer .uk domain. You will have to change the IPS TAG of .uk domain.

    Hope that helps
