    Default 123-reg domain forwarding help

    HI guys.

    I have a small problem..

I don't really know hot ot settup my DNS for one of my domains. What happens now is that the domain is only forwarding o the website and I just want to avoid this.

so the domain name is www#mdbuilders#co#uk Dorset Building and Constructions from A to Z - MD Builders Ltd. and the page is on razor#vel#pl/chosen/md/Dorset Building and Constructions from A to Z - MD Builders Ltd.

so what do I need to do to make my domain work properly so when I will type something after it it will work and by working I mean that instead of seeing the page source as we frame I will se the exact content.

    Hi,

The issue you are facing is due to the frames set by your web developer. I would suggest you to contact your webdeveloper and to make the changes in the coding. Primary search do indicate that source you are calling is from razor#vel#pl/chosen/md/ for which frame is set.

You have set redirect for your domain. If you wish to show the actual content of the page you will have to remove the frame from the source and than upload the files under the domain name as well as have to remove the redirect set.

You have two options that will look professional, and one really bad choice. Currently it looks like you have a domain with 123, but are paying your developer to host the site.

    1. The best thing for you to do is buy hosting with your domain company and ask your dev to upload the site to your account by FTP.

Most hosting for your site would cost only a few pounds per month and would have many other great benefits like email on your domain.

This will be the best form of site hosting, which will then help with search engines and similar.

    2. Another option is to use a c-name point and ask your dev to set this up, though that will not be the best option and might not be supported on your devs system.

    3. The last option would be a framed forward, but this just hides the fact of the site, anyone looking at the link would see this.

Your best bet, hosting with your domain guys. Richy
