A domain name is an identity of an individual / company over the web and its management is of utmost importance. The Registrant can manage his domain names all by himself.
Some registrars provide support only on weekdays (8 hours a day). If you have a control panel for your domain name, you can manage the domain names on the weekends all by yourself. If not, you have to wait till the week starts in order to make any changes. Having an ENOM control panel ensures that you don't waste any time to make any normal changes like updating the nameservers and contact information for your domain name.
The ENOM control panel is offered free of cost. One need not pay any additional charges for this.
Managing the Domain name through ENOM access panel -

Host records can be used to direct your domain name to your web server’s IP address (via A or AAAA records) or specify which servers handle email delivery for your domain (via MX records).
Listed below are the types of records the client can set using ENOM access panel -
A (Address) Record :
-------------------
An A record is typically used to direct your domain name to a web server.
AAAA Record :
-------------
Its similar to an A record, except that it maps a hostname to an IPv6 address. AAAA Records play an important role in the conversion of hostnames to IP addresses.
A record translates a hostname to its corresponding IPv4 address whereas the AAAA record is working for specifying the IPv6 address for a certain host.
CNAME (Alias) Record :
---------------------
It specifies that the domain name is an alias of another, canonical domain name. A CNAME record plays a very important role whilst running multiple services like an FTP server and a webserver, each running on different ports from a single IP address.
