    Default domain name theft

My domain name denimjunkies.com has been stolen and transferred to another registrant by my previous hosting service Validweb by the simple act of making themselves uncontactable and making it impossible to to pay for domain name renewal.

Any advice on regaining my domain that I first registered in 2000 would be appreciated.

Looks like their whole operation has closed down and they have reset all their domains DNS settings to default "dns1.name-services.com"

You could try alternate contact points:

    Validweb
    Web Master (DOMAINS@VALIDWEB.COM)
    +44.2071939750
    Fax: +44.8701312162
    Suite 630
    14 Tottenham Court Road
    London, MO W1T 4JY
    GB

If your unable to contact them and have the domain transfer I understand the process is very long winded, one thing in your favour is your still down as the administrative contact.

If the hosting service you were with was using a third party registrar (like eUKhost use eNom) you could go straight to the third party registrar and try and sort it directly with them .

    Hi,

You should try to contact legal@enom.com or call them directly. Only enom can help you to get your domain back. I could have got this sorted for you if you were our customer, but you need to contact enom directly and provide them with necessary documents to get your domain back.

This is the company I have been trying to contact, the administrative contact was changed when I tried to transfer the domain to eukhost.

Enom tell me they don't get involved in domain name disputes but will provide any information I need.

Only Enom can help you with this problem. I'll contact our account manager at eNom and ask him if he could escalate this problem to someone in their legal department.

    Hi,

Can you please add me in your MSN or skype ?

Our account manager at eNom wants some information from you which should not be disclosed here. They will get this sorted once you send necessary documents to them.
