Domain Transfer Help

Hello eUKHost,

I need help from you guys to transfer my domain name to eUKHost. My domain expired and I had no control to renew it. I didn't receive any email from the registrar to renew it. I am quite serious about getting my domain back. The person who registered domain for me left the company and I have no idea what information did he provide to register that domain.

When I check WhoIs, it says:-
Status: AUTORENEWPERIOD, CLIENT DELETE PROHIBITED, CLIENT TRANSFER PROHIBITED, CLIENT UPDATE PROHIBITED

Expiration Date: 2011-03-31 07:42:06
Creation Date: 2009-03-31 07:42:06
Last Update Date: 2010-05-04 20:15:15

I guess someone has renewed it. How can I know if that has been renewed? If it is not renewed, how can I renew it? Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Richard,

Your domain registrar may still have control over your domain. When you do a whois for the domain name, it will generally display the name of the registrar. The best option I see here is contacting them and checking the current status for the domain name.

The registrar is Name.com I did try contacting them many times, but they never replied. I have sent more than 4 emails to Name.com The domain was expired on 31st March, someone told me that I can renew it after 30 days of Redemption period (don't know what exactly it is). I am afraid if someone back order it, I can't the domain again

I am not familiar to the term either. I read somewhere an expired domain name will be available on the net 90 days after its expire date. Just be aware that someone can always back order it, as you just mentioned.

You need contact current domain registrar by sending an email from Administrative Contact email address of domain. The domain name must be restored by your current registrar before it can be transferred so I suggest you to renew the domain. If still the registrar is not responding, you may contact ICANN.

Expired domain will still shows next year's date, only because the registry has actually been paid for the renewal by the registrar and allows the previous owner to have time to renew the domain during the grace period. Your domain is currently expired so you can renew it

Hello,

The expired domain can be renewed only by the owner of the domain name from the domains current registrar. Others can register it only when its available for registration. Hence you can contact your current domain registrar to get the domain name renewed.

You can surely contact to Name.com or send email from administrative contact email address of your domain. If it is your company email address then it will be easy for you to contact directly to registrar in order to renew the domain.

The registrar accepts request only if its sent from above mentioned email address.
