    Post External Domain Names

    Hi,

I am a current Cpanel Hosting customer and I want to add an extra domain or two to my package.

I have a domain registered elsewhere, how can I point this domain to my EUKhost hosting without transferring it?

Is it a case of changing the nameservers to my EUKhost ones ? or is there more to the process. I have tried searching the forums here but just got confused. (sorry )

    Advice would be appreciated

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Muddeh,

You can host multiple domains under the cPanel hosting package you are using.

If you do not wish to transfer the domain under our registry, you simply need to ask your current domain registrar to update the nameservers of your domain with our nameservers and the domain will point to our server

If you find the original e-mail you received from eUKhost with domain name server details, you simply change the name servers for the domain name you want to point to eUKhost and then add the domain name to your web hosting account. Where ever you have your domain registered, go into the section of that domain registrar's website and you may find a 'My Products', 'My Domains' or perhaps a 'Manage Domains' section on the company's website for where you have your other domain name registered with. Go to the section where it lists all your domain(s) or where you can manage the settings for your domain(s) with your domain registrar. Modify the 'name servers' for that domain name to the eUKhost ones you received in your original e-mail. If you can't find the e-mail with your name servers in, you can submit a ticket via the eUKhost website (or e-mail support[@]eukhost.com with the e-mail address you used to order your web hosting - i.e. your registered e-mail address) and ask them what your name servers are for your website already hosted with eUKhost .

If you have any problems following these steps, submit a ticket via the website or e-mail support[@]eukhost.com explaining you need help changing the name servers for a domain name registered with a different domain registrar, to point to eUKhost and I'm sure they will help you out .

Note: remove the extra [ and ] from the support[@]eukhost.com e-mail address before sending.
