    Google unveiled a shortest domain name "g.cn" to make it easier for Chinese users to find Google. Possibly this is Google's shortest domain name ever!

    seriously when I watched this post, I had the same expression on my face as its for the first time I've seen such a domain which only has 1 character in it.

    Well, you might be interested to know about Google's another mysterious domain name 1e100.net ( the net's 44th most visited site) became famous in a very short time. As per Google this misspelled domain is used to 'identify servers' on its internal network, indicating that reverse DNS plays a role.

    Not as such, It is just my passion to get knowledge by studying, learning from experience and observation that finally help me to scan information from the data which is already available and write a short paragraph.

    After Google-China controversy... it seems that Google will redirect g.cn to Google.com rather then google.com.hk
    Which is good for Baidu who will rule China now !

    Yes, Baidu will continue to dominate Google because it has already 60% plus search market share and because it's homegrown it can handle the China's Government complex policies very well than Google.

    Baidu is a leading search engine in china. Besides Search Engine, baidu also provides services such as Baidu Baike (Encyclopedia), Baidu Maps, Baidu Image Search, Baidu Video Search, Baidu Dictionary, Directory etc...

    Well, I think Baidu is most widely used by Chinese people and its MP3 Search services contribute greatly to its success that return results which are heavily geared towards unlicensed music.
