I have been enrolled in privacy guard for 10 months now, last Saturday i ran a whosis on my domain cuz i have been getting letters from other domain registers, so they finally turned privacy guard on. when i contacted support, they said it would migrate in 15 minites, so Tuesday i ran different whosis and all the info is showing up on one of them but hidden on others, so I contact tech support and i am assured that my info is hidden so i do a copy and paste of the whosis that shows my info, then told it takes time for it to migrate to all whosis, and not even a mention of we'll credit your account for the 10 months it hasn't been turned off, I mean what's up with this, not very happy at all.

    Dear Joe,

There are different databases that show domain/whoIs information. If you find your details displayed on a particular website, you will need to contact these third parties to have them remove the information from their databases. Our system shows that the domain is ID protected and so does most of the popular online WhoIs tools. Your domain has an expiration date of 4/6/2012 and the ID Protect has an expiration date of 2/4/2013. This means that the domain was not protected for a period of 10 months at which time these third party WHOIS sites had plenty of time to retrieve the contact information that was on the domain prior to it being ID Protected.

You will need to wait until these third party WHOIS databases get refreshed, which they do on whatever schedule they have setup. If you still find the information to be publicly displayed you'd have to contact them to get the it removed.

Since we are not in control of these databases, there is hardly anything we can do. As the ID protection has recently been enabled for your domain, I'd advise you to wait for sometime until the databases refresh their information.

Sorry to hear of your difficulties . As has been said though, you would have to contact the third party sites directly. eUKhost will have no power to modify the content of third party websites.

If you send them (the third party sites showing your info) a quick e-mail I'm sure that they'd be happy to remove it / update it for you .
