We got a project were we have to make a site related to travel and along companion. We have worked out for website were we can bring together a group of people those who are interested in traveling and as well they can also choose there companion through this site for camp which will be organized by us. Now we are in search of domain related to the site we came across Companion.co. Anybody with any suggestion so that we don’t have to spent a lot for domain. try google for domain marketplace, one of them that i used before is sedo.com, i searching for travel related domain, found 1500 domain for sales, price range from few dollars only.

Unless you are Colombian, or targeting the Colombian market, I would strongly advise to not use a .co domain.

Go for a .com, of if you target UK, a co.uk.

Domains can be found be either auction websites like SEO, domain forums like DnForum or Acorn or simply by contacting the owners of domains you like.

Couldn't really understand what you actually wish to tell. What I could understand is your concern about the expiration of your domain name. In that case you can renew it beforehand.
