WhoIs is a useful tool for domain. By searching on WhoIs you can determine who/when/where a domain name was registered. Searching WhoIs also reveals information on a website’s numerical IP address as well as DNS records.I was wondering that is WhoIs as magical as it is described?Can it cover all the domains? No exceptions?Thanks for any comments!

I don't really understand what you need to know. Whois service is a very important tool as it helps you to get in touch with the owner of a website. You can find this info for every domain, as long as the owner hasn't gone for whois privacy guard. This usually costs a few bucks per year.
