    Default 2 questions

I have two questions before I opt for a vps from a shared hosting plan.

    1) I want to try vps before I decide to move onto it permanently. Since I already have a shared hosting plan can I keep the shared hosting plan and also have a vps plan, or can i only have one?

    2) Should I opt for cpanel/whm or plesk? what are advantages n disadvantages of both?

I only have a semi-answer for question 2. I personally prefer cPanel as it's easier to use and comes with many excellent features.

If you haven't checked out WHM yet you can use the link below as a demo

You can have multiple shared or vps hosting plans and you can test VPS for 1 month as per our 30 days money back guarantee. If you don't like the VPS then you can ask for full refund within 30 days. We will help you with migration of your website from the shared hosting plan to the VPS.

Most of our customers prefer cPanel on Linux servers and plesk for windows. I don't see much difference in both as we are partners of cPanel as well as Parallels and we have expertise in managing servers with both control panels.

For stability and reliability purposes, I would personally suggest you go for the linux VPS with cpanel and WHM.
