    Default Done with EUKHost

I am so very done with the lousy quality of both hosting and support of EUKhost, I just won't want to pay the invoice that's due in a week, and I'll leave here before I'll loose customers. In the past years my VPS (IP 213.175.201.250) had problems and downtimes more times than I can remember. This time I've had enough. Again for days my server is more down than up, Plesk and Virtuozzo keep giving 404's, websites are down or very slow, etc. I'm so frustrated about this crap! Sure, the 24/7 support chat guys are very friendly, but whatever they do ("we did some changes on your server, it should be allright now, blahblah") nothing is improved at all. I'm done with EUKHost, I don't have any patience anymore, and I don't want to pay for a new year. The uptime guarantee is a joke, but not a funny one.

I have two VPS accounts with eUKhost and while I am very satisfied your post did caught my attention. Because you post in the same timeframe while I have issues with one of my VPS accounts that is hosted on the IP 213.175.214.74
I have submitted a ticket yesterday about it. The reason is that I can reach that server on and off since last Friday. Either the connection will time out, or the websites load very slow and often when they do load, they load up incomplete (missing images / css files etc.).
The weird thing, I face the same issue on eUKhost.com as well since last Friday and they are hosted on IP 213.175.192.12
Also when I manage to login at my WHM account all seems to be fine with low server loads. I somehow suspect connection (routing) issues between my geographic location to the IP range 213.175.x Atleast that is what I notice looking at the sites that gives me troubles to load. And your post seems like you face the same issue.
I hope it can be solved, I am awaiting a reply in my support ticket. Just posting here as well so support staff might see a relation between our issues.

(now lets copy my message in case I fail to submit it in once)

i supposed its the same with every company, you get some customers having probs, some dont. Personally EUK have been excellent for me in terms of support and service. The billing dept is awful and almost seems like it doesnt talk to any other departments, but other than that my VPS is reliable, fast and rarely has any problems.

    Dear Adrian,

I am unable to locate any of your ticket related to the billing issues. Please provide me with the ticket ID or the issues you came across so that I would investigate it further.

theres no current problem Karen, so no tickets open. I was just referring to past problems i've had with billing, mainly with SSL issues.

I am aware about your SSL issues and we are already working on it to get it automated completely. I assure that this will be done within a month.

Well, you don't know how many chances I have given them over the years. Luckily most of the things seems to be well again now (not all), after an apparently senior support executive has intervened. But I must admit the faith in my server remaining stable needs time to build again.

It's 2 months later, and this server still is crappy as hell. EVERY DAY it's down one or multiple times, sometimes for minutes, sometimes longer. Today it was down most of the day, while I was out having meetings and could not keep an eye on it. I'm really fed up with Eukhost, and I wish I would not have reordered it and believed the staff's promises that it would not happen again, blahblahblah. I'll go look for another hoster, as I cannot keep my customers if I cannot keep their sites up. I hate the idea of having to move several dozens of sites to another hoster, but I cannot stay with EUKhost any longer.

I have another (similar) VPS with another company, and it has never ever failed me since I got it in 2004. Not even once! OK, I pay almost double, but - maybe not surpisingly - cheap hosting means crap quality.

Unhappy Same problem Slow VPS even when server load low.

I also have the same sort of problem, sites are slow or unobtainable even when server load is low. But a lot of the time server load average is up to 6.8 and the VPS is unusable, it will then drop to a sensible level for a short time before shooting up again. I have had problems in the past, and EUKHosts have solved them by moving my VPS to a new server and saying that is a permanent solution, well it’s not, within a few months all the same problems return.
During the last few months I have not been able to spend much time looking after my VPS because my wife has been ill, but when I have tried to edit my sites they have been slow and unresponsive, as she is now getting better I have a little more time available to work on my sites. Today (Sunday 23 Jan) I tried to log in to my vps only to get a warning message about the servers security certificate error message, I have contacted support and they say everything is OK and could I send them the domain name that was getting this message. I sent them the domain name at 17.38 but have had no reply, this error is on top of the slow and unresponsive VPS.
PS for anybody saying give them a chance, I have been with EUKHosts for almost two years and all solutions so far have been temporary. They normally do respond to tickets fast, but most solutions seem to be temporary.
