    Question PHPlist e-mail sending problem

I have filled out a ticket about this but thought I'd post on here to see if anyone had any general advice about what my problem may be.

One of my sites uses PHPLIST to manage a simple e-flyer mail list. I have installed the latest version of PHPlist at boothhouse dot bradweb dot co.uk/lists/

For some reason it is able to send e-mails to Yahoo or Googlemail, but not to any of my other e-mail accounts (in particular d.robison 'at' bradford.ac.uk, dave 'at' 4clubbers.net). No confirmation e-mail is sent. I have tried many times.

Is this something to do with verifcation or incorrect configuration? It worked fine on the 1&1 servers with these e-mail addresses, which is where I used to host my site.

The support ticket was responded to - they said "We have created the test E-mail address support@boothhouse.bradweb.co.uk and configure it in the phplist as smtp auth module E-mail address /password and it seems to be working fine..."

But still, no e-mail arrives at those addresses from phplist (which is hosted at boothhouse.bradweb.co.uk on the eukhost server). I have no other problems with these e-mail addresses or domains.

There do seem to be a few errors coming up at intoDNS: boothhouse.bradweb.co.uk - check DNS server and mail server health but I don't really understand them or if they could be causing the problem with the non-delivery of messages from phplist.

So it seems to be working properly but it just isn't sending e-mails successfully to these e-mail addresses. I am worried that may e-mail addresses will not scucessfully be sent to, in a similar way to these two.

    Does anyone have an ideas?

    Default Fixed

The support person found the problem:

"The problem was with the incorrect hostname set on your vps. Your vps was still using the temporary hostname due to which emails were not working. We have changed the hostname to vps.bradweb.co.uk, now the email are working fine."

    Hi,

I've checked your server and found that it was not have a valid rDNS setup which I've now set it for. Please try to send your emails again to check whether they are working fine or not.
