    Unhappy Realistic migration times please!

    Hi there, we initiated a package upgrade from shared hosting to virtual server hosting 48 hours ago. Initially I was told it would take 6-7 hours, so after 12 hours with no response I was able to speak to someone via Live Chat and they said it would be another couple of hours.
    Fair enough I thought so I went to bed The next morning (yesterday), still nothing. Live Chat support then reported it would be soon, hopefully in the next few hours. Again by 10pm still nothing. I tried Live Chat support once more and they said definitely in the next few hours.
    So I get up this morning expecting all the details to come through but guess what? Still nothing.

    I am quite disappointed, mainly due to the timescales that were given to me. If you had said this process would take several days in the first place I would have been okay with it. But when people are constantly saying in the next few hours and nothing happens it does make me wonder what is going on.

    I'm sure there is a genuine reason for why it's taking so long to do this but if you could give me some realistic migration times it would be much more useful and I could manage my expectations.

    Hi Gareth,

    Please provide me the ticket ID if you have a migration request ticket open for this. Or you can also provide me the domain name so I can get it checked and update you with the exact status of the migration.

    Hi Gareth!

    Please accept my sincere apology for the delay in getting your account migrated to a VPS. If I had done the migration, it would have taken less than an hour for me to do so. I am not sure why it has taken so much time for migration in your case.

    Please allow me time to get this investigated from someone senior in our tech support.
