    Default Upgrading MySQL

We run a number of WordPress blogs on our Linux VPS. WordPress have announced that the next version (due at the end of June) will require MySQL 5.0 or later. Currently the server is running 4.1.22-standard.

If I ask for MySQL to be updated to the latest version are there any likely problems that I should be aware of?

There's absolutely no problems with upgrading MySQL to the latest version. Usually downgrading to a lower version causes issues, which too can be sorted out quickly

Lovely! I'll put in a support request for the upgrade.
