    Default Virtuozzo control panel repeatedly going down!

    Hi I have had problems all week with virtuozzo panel access. (109.203.97.19 Either the menu's are not all there, or like today it is not connecting at all. I did send a ticket early this moring, but it is still not connecting and totally down.

    Could someone at support have a look into why it's going down - I am getting excessive resource usage messgages, daily from lfd when the server is runing the backup as below:

    Hello,

    I have reinstalled service container which manage virtuozzo power panel, on main hardware node .

    You should be able to access power panel now

    Thanks Alan - hope that fixes it - Will know when the container back-up runs again I suppose I did notice that some of the container packages were showing updates avaialable - is that anything to do with it? Thanks again, Barry

    Hi - it's down again this morning - have sent a support request. So re-install did not fix the issue it seems to be the internal backup script using excessive resources.

    Hi Eric - yes - I got firstline support to fix this morning - via online chat, as I needed access quickly - but I am now having to ask for this to be done every day, so think it needs a little investigation. It never used to happen. Only been doing it for about a week, but very frustrating to have to contact support every day. It seems the backup causes it to go down through excessives resource usage every night. Have just logged in again and now all menu options have gone! Can now only see Contol panel, Help & Preferences options - All options were there earlier - There is clearly something wrong here.

    I'll get the service container of his host reinstalled (if that fixes it permanently) or have your VPS migrated over to our other node, which will definitely bring an end to this problem. Let me know how you'd like to proceed..

    Hi Rock thanks for the reply - will migrating it mean new IP addresses? ( we have 2 on there) Also any downtime - as it's and e-commerce site?

    No, migrating the VPS to other host won't make any change in it's IP address. Let know if you want us to proceed with this

    Hi Rock - in that case yes! Please make sure all csf, lfd and logwatch settings are carried over as well. php was also updated on this server I believe. thanks - Bazz
