I have set up backup on WHM. However, I note no backups are being created. What could be the problem.

Hi,

Have you tried to force the backup manually
(/scripts/cpbackup --force) (/scripts should be a symlink to /usr/local/cpanel/scripts if you dont have it)

Just to see if the backup works at all.

Also, check that cpbackup is in your crontab - on my Centos 6 vps, crontab -l (while logged in as root) shows cpbackup set to run at 1am every day for example - that is the script is set to run, and the script should read your conf file to detemrine what/when backups are actually done..

On some systems, I believe the cpbackup script is called by upcp, again in /scripts..check crontab -l as root for that too maybe ?
