The next level of hosting after Reseller hosting is VPS. It takes you from a shared server to your own Virtual private server. Also, you get root access with the VPS server which allows you to install any software and application on the server as you have full control over the server.

When you ask for an upgrade from a reseller plan then any one first suggest you VPS because VPS exist between reseller hosting and dedicated server hosting.
Price of reseller hosting is cheaper as compare to a dedicated server hosting and not everyone is directly ready to pay higher price which is for dedicated server .
To fill up this gap VPS servers are suggest first as its cheaper than a dedicated server and affordable for the person who is just upgrading from reseller hosting.
If you have good budget then you can also directly upgrade your reseller package to a dedicated server .
Also, Dedicated servers are only suggested to them directly whose resources usages are very high on a reseller plan .

    Hello,

Reseller hosting is also having all necessary software's and modules installed. As it a shared server there are lots of restrictions to run software and modules [No custom software's are allowed].
Also due to the security majors some modules and functions are disabled which is requires for few sites to run.

To over come from this problem and to run custom software's modules and functions, VPS hosting is good.
VPS hosting is having full root access and you are the full administrator of your server and authorize to install and use any legal software's. Resources is the only main limit on a VPS server.

All of our shared and reseller servers have a standard set of scripts and software pre-installed. If you are looking to install and use any 3rd party application, you'll need an isolated hosting space.

We offer VPS, Semi-dedicated and Cloud servers that offer elements much like those of a dedicated server. The bottom line of these hosting plans is root access. This means that every user is able to install any software, application or operating platform as per their preferences (of course as long as it is legal ).
