    Default Connection LOST AGAIN AND AGAIN

    Guys, what is happening with the connection to servers the last 2 days?

    I have had intermittent disconnects the last 2 days and your support keep saying there's nothing wrong. There is and can you tell us what it is.

    I have referred this thread to the support team specifically asking whether a System Administrator can look into this for you. I am sorry you are continuing to have issues with your service and will try and get this issue resolved for you as soon as possible.

    Hello Ross,

    I have searched ticket/chat related to your network problem and found only 1 chat which you have with Perry, where he checked the network issue on your server and not found anything.

    In your chat you have mentioned that you were having teamspeak on your server and your users are having issue in connections. I have checked your server myself & not found any kind of network issue.

    Your server has CSF firewall installed on it & this intermediate network or packet loss problem might exist because of the IP addresses of your users getting blocked in the firewall on temporary basis. You can check the connections issue after disabling firewall once.

    Also provide us the tracert and ping report when you face the connection issue so that our network engineers can investigate on the issue properly.

    It's still happening. Every time it drops, I cannot get on the EUK site. It's not my ISP as I have 20 people from over the world using my voice comms server on my dedicated server.

    Can you please find out what this is cos for 4 or 5 days it's cutting out and it's seriously annoying.

    3 times in the last 2 minutes.

    Cos it's happening randomly and for 5-10 seconds, it's impossible to do a tracert for this. EUK need to check the reason with the datacenter cos if we can't get on your site when it drops then it's your end.

    It's only started happening over the last few days so it won't be the firewall cos it's been fine for months.

    3 more times since my last post.

    Again, we all lose connection and I cannot get on the EUK site. We all use different ISPs and currently there are 4 different countries connected.

    I'm on to live chat again but there's no network issues reported. There must be something up. The comms server is called Teamspeak and has been running flawlessly for months, any drop in connection instantly kicks everyone this is how I know there's something up.

    Thanks,

    I just emailed a screenshot of the ping trace to show that no one could connect.

    It's been down for the last 10 minutes now... it's finally just came back up. The entire time I could not get on EUK site to contact live chat.

    Again, people from different countries have been unable to connect as well.

    Yes, there have been network issues for servers located in Maidenhead. Refer euk-status for further updates.

    Ahh finally a possible answer then.

    Would this of caused the intermittent connection issues over the last few days then? A slowly dying router?

    Hi all,

    I was referred to Emergency Maintenance - euk-status.com by chat which was great... but shouldn't this info by on forums > network status which is the 1st place I checked.. it would have saved me taking up a Chat slot.

    Glad you guys tracked this down I have seen quite a few pingdom blips across all our servers.. which is a scary thing to see all at once

    Not only should it be on the forums but the support/live chat team should know about it rather than ask me to speak to 3 foreign ISPs to see if they are having connection issues.

    Communication is key when things like this happen. Although it is rare, it does cause issues with us and our own clients.

    Well my server was just down for a further 10 minutes and just came back up.

    By the term down, do you mean to say it was unreachable over the network? I do find your server online since last 46 days & that no other client hosted in the same facility has experienced or reports of such outages. We can have this server of yours migrated over to a different datacenter where a new IP would be given to it & hopefully which will bring an end to this ongoing & intermittent network issue. Let me know how you'd like to proceed with this..

    Yes, I too think this is an entirely different issue as none of the other clients hosted in the same rack have complained of such intermittent network issues.

    Hi Andy,

    We use eUK-Status.com as a central place for network status updates so that forum may not always be updated. I will create a thread in that forum (and sticky it) to refer customers to the website in case there are no specific status updates in that forum.

    Hello,

    this issue is starting again. My server is losing connection 3-4 times with in 5 minutes every few hours.

    It's been slowly getting worse over the past few days. I cannot get on the EUK site when I cannot get on to my own sites so it must be something wrong with connectivity to the data centre. It's not my connection alone as there are 8 people on my voice server and they all lose connection.

    Any idea what the issue could be?

    We've monitored your server and their seems to be no issue there.

    An email has been dispatched to the registered address with the screenshot attached. Kindly check and let me know if the issue still persists, we look forward to resolve it (if any) at the earliest. Though the stats does not show any packet loss, yet we would try to look into where things are going wrong.

    there was definitely a short outage at around 2:57:29PM yesterday that affected at least 2 of our servers for about 2 mins.
