No Help In Live Chat

'Raymond', 'Paul' and 'Alfred' have all told me my problem was solved and that it wouldn't happen again and that they would take care of it, but it seems to be just idol words.

If there is anyone reading this at EUK who can actually offer a solution to the following problem please respond before I move to a hosting company who can offer a service.

I have a Windows Reseller package using Plesk. On the 1st of January 2010 I noticed that Web Stats for my websites were not current and only showed stats up to 2008, yes I did say 2008.

1st January I went to 'live' chat on the EUK website in order to sort the problem out and spoke to 'Raymond'. He looked at my account and manually refreshed each of the domains I have which have Web Stats, about 15. He then told me that the problem had been fixed and that the stats would now refresh automatically. ( transcript of chat available )

The 2nd of January came and went with no stats, then the 3rd came with no stats showing for that day.

On the 4th January I spoke to 'live chat' again and explained to 'Raymond' that it still wasn't showing up to date stats. Again he manually refreshed the domains and said it was fixed again. ( transcript of chat available )

The 5th jan came and went with no stats for that day, and the same happened for the 6th Jan.

7th January I spoke to 'Paul' in 'live chat' who again refreshed each domain manually and told me it was fixed. I asked him if he was sure as it hasn't been fixed the previous times. he assured me that there would be no further problem. ( transcript of chat available )

24 hours later and guess what, the Web Stats still hadn't refreshed.

8th January I spoke to 'Alfred' in 'live chat' and he went through each domian manually and refreshed them. He told me the problem wa now fixed. I said I had my doubts and that I would probably be back. He absolutely assured me that there would be no further problem

Andy: Raymond did it manually on the 1st of Jan. that didn't work so he did it again on the 4th Jan. That didn't work so Paul manually did it again on the 7th Jan. It is still not working.

Alfred: Please try again & let me know if it works for you
Alfred: I have updated web stats manually for your all domains

Andy: I repeat though that I cannot come in here everyday to get them updated manually. The stats should refresh automatically but they aren't. have you definately cured the problem ?

Alfred: No worries, i will take care this will not happen again

I STILL HAVE NO CURRENT WEB STATS AND CANNOT AFFORD TO COME TO LIVE CHAT EVERY DAY TO GET THEM MANUALLY REFRESHED.

PLEASE HELP OR LOSE MY BUSINESS.

I do have Google Analytics but I feel you are missing the point. I PAY for EUK to provide Web Stats as part of my package.

If you bought a new car that was advertised as being a turbo charged engine only to find it had no turbo you wouldn't be happy.

If EUK wanted to reduce my monthly bill by £5 as there are no stats provided I would accept it.

Another point you are missing is the fact that 4 of the people in 'live' chat could offer no help and thought they had fixed the problem. They have each promised it had been fixed and that they would make sure it didn't occur again. The transcripts of the chat show this.

Poor service and remaining unconvinced.

Plesk is not up to date either. EUK are using version 8.6 but others are using 9.1.

Hi Andrew,

Plesk 8.6 is considered to be a stable version with the automatic backup facility, hence not keeping it updated. We do provide Plesk 9.x too on Windows shared hosting servers & can move your account to the server once requested. Kindly open up a ticket with our Windows Support Dept for any further assistance..
