    Default JavaScript, Is It Worth it?

    I've been looking lately to expand my knowledge of web coding. So far I'm pretty decent in HTML and CSS but I would like to dig into something more meatier. What language do you recommend?

    I would advise you to go with PHP from the start. In essence, programming/coding logic is similar across languages. But to learn JavaScript only is just not enough, in my opinion.

    The main recognition I have of javascript is that it's the scripting language Google uses in their Adsense ads. Since you mentioned PHP, isn't it used a lot in programming for forums?
