Boston server / upgrading / poor offer :o(

Hi,

We have a reseller account on the Boston server and have multiple client sites hosted there. In the last week to ten days, the server has been down multiple times for up to 90 minutes.

Live chat support, while normally superb, have been a little evasive on this issue and keep promising it won't happen again. Well today all our sites were down for over an hour. Again. Two clients have taken their websites elsewhere and we're on the verge of losing a huge account.

So we have 2 choices. Take the business elsewhere (as everyone in our company is urging me to do as they have to field the angry calls from clients without working websites) or upgrade to a VPS / dedicated server and run our client sites there with WHM/cpanel.

On the back of all the downtime and with the offer to pay for the 12 months up front, we are being offered a whopping 10% discount on a VPS or dedicated server package which is derisory bearing in mind the downtime and money that we've lost as a consequence.

Could someone at EUKHost please help out here as we're at our wits' end and you guys have been so good until recently. I'm loathe to take our business elsewhere but we're about to be left with no choice.

Hi Jon,

The Backup software was creating problem on the server.
While creating backup, It was creating lots of caching on the server. Due to which Disk Space was getting full.

We have corrected the Bug of backup software with help of software vendors. I am assuring you that you will not face such issues in future.
