Email and Deleting an Account

Hi

Quick question that I hope someone can answer for me please?

Unfortunately one of my clients has cancelled their website but needs to keep a record of their emails for future reference. They don't want to continue using the email accounts but simply keep a record of their emails sent. How do they do this?

If (when) I delete their account they will obviously lose eveything!

Hi.. Ask them to get the emails downloaded on their local machine so that they have a record of emails sent/received. Once all the emails are downloaded, you can terminate the website/account.

Ask them to configure email account via any email client. Once account is configured, see to it that option "Leave a copy of message on server". Doing this, all emails will be downloaded on local machine.
