    Agreed with this. This has caused countless problems in the past when one bad account gets a whole host of other shared accounts email bounced as it comes from the same "bad ip" listed on the spam lists.

    I believe each email hosting package should be provided with a free dedicated IP.
    .....aaahh...some1 jst shot me :P

    paid for email hosting is always better than free due to the additional functionality provided. You can get excellent free hosting which is usually ideal for personal use. It is however more professional to use a paid for email host when using email for your business. Business email hosting is an important part of business as most communication these days is done via email.

    It all depends on your requirement and sensitivity of your data transferred via email, if it is very sensitive then FREE email hosting is good.
