Default How to find a job for french speaking people

    Hello,

I have discovered a recruitment consultancy “French Recruitment” which is specialized in the recruitment of French speaking professionals in the United Kingdom. They recruit in several sectors. If you want to know the website hosting of this consultancy, you should contact me.

OK, let's find out if this is genuine! I'm not fluent in French, but have a friend who is and is looking for gainful employment, Manchester-based. If it helps, he's experienced in retail management and is an expert in French wines ...

Care to send me a PM please? You should check your UserCP configuration is set to send your email notifications and popups, I suggest.

    Hi,

Your friend might want to consider contacting airlines and tour operators. I believe they pay extra for every language you speak.
    Kind Regards,

Yes, translators are some of the best paid people in the world when they land important jobs. The highest paid ones that I can think of are the ones that work for the government and organisations such as the UN and ones that work in foreign embassies get a crap load more!

Default How to find a job for french speaking people

took a postdoc position at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, after completing my Ph.D. at the Institut Curie in Paris, France. It was then that I realized that moving to another country is not easy. But later I was even more surprised to discover how much more difficult it is to return to one's own country. You lose contacts during a stay overseas. Fortunately, I found out I was not alone. A few French postdocs, aware of this problem, had started a group to help information flow within the French community at NIH. This local start led to the creation of a French-speaking Biologist Network , a directory for the approximately 3000 French postdocs around the world. Our aim is to develop collaborations and communication between scientists, and we hope the directory will be a great help for people looking for a job since we have advertised it to 300 biotech companies in France.
