Remotely Connection to MS SQL DB

Hi,

A while ago we were able to access our database from an external PC (eg from our local machine).

It seems this access has been revoked as we now cannot connect - it is stating the database doesn't exist or access is denied - we know the username and passwords are correct as we are using them in code to connect.

Has a policy changed or do we need to change our connection properties?

we are on eurofighter.

There is no changes have been done in our policy to manage Ms SQL databases. You can logging your Ms SQL database from your local machine without any problem.

It would be if you pm me your Ms SQL database name and the website name under which you have created the Ms SQL databases, so that I can reproduce the issue at my side and will fix it.

We are using hosted MS SQL Server. One of our authorized users was not able to remotely access the hosted MS SQL Server via Internet though his username and password were correct. We reported this problem to our MS SQL Server hosting service provider’s support team, and it solved the problem completely.
