I was suggested to use APC (Alternative PHP Cache) or eAccelerator to improve the performance. But, I need to know which one is good among them? and how does APC or eAccelerator will help me to improve the performance of the server?

After reading several articles, I have come to conclusion that eAaccelerator is more faster than APC, however, most of the developers contribute to its development and recommend APC. eAccelerator requires to be configured in order to support the shared memory storage and manipulation. And since, APC it has been announced that soon APC is going to be included in to PHP 6, I believe there must be good reasons behind including it to PHP 6. Secondly, its very easy to install and speed up things.
Indeed, and there are many big brands using APC like Facebook and Digg. That's why I too believe that APC is the best PHP accelerator program to improve performance of a dedicated server.
