My Cloud VPS is also down
Absolutely no consolation, but according to their SLA we should now be credited for a month worth of fees (won't go that far to repair the damage this has caused my business to be honest).
Well, it may be up but guess what?
DB function failed with error number 1
Can't create/write to file '/tmp/#sql_bd4_0.MYI' (Errcode: 13)
Now I am getting even more calls from my already hacked off clients!
Can I ask for a bit more information as to exactly what is happening please? I understand there was an issue with the shared storage, which was resolved this morning, but why are some of us still not back online?
I need to pass some information onto my customers who are growing increasingly frustrated now.
Agree with this. Please ensure all VPS Cloud customers are back with us until an explanation is given. Which I am sure you will do.
We are certainly glad to be now back so thank you to the Eukhost support for their work. 13 hours or so downtime so It's obviously a huge relief to be back online, but I would consider this an extremely serious issue for EUKhost.
It has put un-neccessary strain on our phone lines this morning and we certainly have egg on our face as we announced earlier in the year that downtime on the sites would be a thing of the past after moving to cloud! We were moved to Cloud for the very reason of avoiding an issue like this ever happening again.
I certainly look forward to further comments from the EUkhost team later today or once the issue is completely resolved. May I also suggest that a company director gives us all a statement of assurance that such an issue will not happen again?

2 e-commerce clients want to see me about the loss of business and have thrown the assurance I passed on regarding the uptime etc right in my face. Orders cannot be placed because there is a DB issue which "Ambrose" on live chat is trying to resolve right now. I have nowhere to hide.

Hi David.. Try accessing Article Manager from the joomla admin control panel. It works now. It does not throw error anymore.

My patience and understanding is one thing, but that of my customers is another unfortuneately. They are not particularly understanding when they have lost a whole days trade and my assurances to them are starting to now run a bit thin.
We moved from 1&1 to EUK only last week after experiencing a near identical problem with them (it happened on a Monday and also lasted all day) and hoped to have put all these sort of problems behind us!
My server is still off as well.
No online orders today!
