If that is the Puma server then yes there is a problem and they are working on it. I contacted live support and that was what I was told and hour or so ago, and all my domains are down as we speak. They said that they hoped to be able to resolve it very soon. Fingers crossed then

    I am in the 92.48.range

Yes, this includes puma server. We do not have an ETA at the moment , but the network team is working to fix this up asap.

Your understanding and patience is much appreciated.

    Default Issues continue

    Hi All

I have been with eUK for over 4 years now but I am new to the forums.

I am having a lot of problems accessing my website hosted on Cambridge when accessing it from my Virgin Media cable service. Other ISP's work fine.

The problem is intermittent, logged on today to make some changes and a few seconds later, lost all services for about 20 mins and then it came back on for a hour or so and now it's just gone again.

    Route as follows

    C:\Users\XXXXXXXXXX>tracert XXXXXXXXXX.net

The route is the same but when it does work (second tr) cambridge responds.

Any ideas on whats going on, this is very frustrating as around 90% of the visitors using the website / email are on VM.

    Thanks

Hi Peter.. Further checking on the server, it has been found that your IP was getting blocked as the server firewall found to have 411 connections to the server from your IP address. Below are the logs.

    Jul 29 16:02:27 cambridge lfd[21604]: (CT) IP 86.28.123.71 (GB/United Kingdom/cpc2-staf7-2-0-cust70.3-1.cable.virginmedia.com) found to have 411 connections - *Blocked in csf* for 600 secs [CT_LIMIT]

I have for now unblocked your IP address from the server firewall. Check if you can perform the traceroute and access the websites.

Default Same blocking problem on Portland

    Hi,

I appear to be having the same problem as Peter. My site became increasingly unresponsive while I was editing it and now I cannot access the site (or the IP address).

I can see the site from my phone and from computers on different networks but not my local account. Ping fails and Tracert does not make it to portland.

Can somebody help? This is driving me nuts...
If it is a block due to a lt of connections is there a way to detect or avoid this happening again?

    Many thanks,

    Hello There,

The tracert from your workplace does the talking for itself. If there would have been a problem with the server it wouldn't have reached portland.

In your case, I would recommend to contact your ISP and let them know about the problem. They'd investigate and contact the ISP that is dropping the connection.

    Hi again

The only site I appear to have trouble with is my own on Portalnd which I know is ok because, as I originally said, I can access it from other computers and also from my phone.

The tracert shows that I can get right up to Portland which discards the packet with no response - but only from my home account. Other accounts receive the ICMP reply to complete the trace.

I have tried using the website IP address so it does not appear to be a DNS issue (other 'I cannot access a site' comments pointed to DNS) so it appears that my IP address is causing the block.

Can someone check to ensure my IP address is not on the block list and I will also contact my ISP to make sure it is not my end.

    Many thanks,
    Guy.

Yes, your local IP address "82.152.119.17" was blocked on the server firewall. If "82.152.119.17" is your static IP address then let us know we will add it in the allow list of firewall.

Thanks Rsync! It's good to finally get to the bottom of this.
82.152.119.17 is a static IP address.

Do the logs show what may have caused this so I can ensure it does not happen again?
