Problems between Asia and Europe
Hello All,
As some of you may be aware, on Friday December 19th there was a major cable cut effecting routes from Asia to Europe. As a result, many ISPs in Asia have rerouted traffic over the Pacific region, in order for their customers to be able to reach websites hosted in Europe. This is resulting in severe congestion, which in turn is resulting in websites loading much slower than usual for many visitors from Asia. It's possible that some people with certain ISPs may be unable to reach at all.
One of the cables is scheduled to be fixed by December 25th, while another cable should be fixed at new year. In the meantime, visitors from Asia will experience slow response times from sites hosted with eUKhost and many other hosting providers in Europe.
We will update you if we receive any further information.
Kind Regards,
John - Managing Director
