    Default Routing from Virgin

    Hi
Last week on of my customers couldn't get to my mail server - pings and tracert failed.
I got him to dicsonnect his modem and leave it off overnight and I guesed the refreshed IP had solved the problem assuming that it was a Virgin issue.

Today I have the same issue - my tracrt times out on 92.48.114.133

A major problem when you can't get to your server.

Just to prove that it is a routing issue I can connect to my windows server with EUK which is on a different IP group

    Can anyone assist ASAP?

It's likely that your IP address is blocked on the EUKhost server, the Virgin Media issue was sorted a few months back. 92.48.114.133 is the last hop before your server.

Support did not recognise this as an EUK IP.
However eventually they got it unblocked.

You can't just call them cable now. They also have virgin.net under their wing so are dealing in ADSL as well.

Sorry I stand corrected although my connection/problem was via cable.

VirginMedia are having some issues again. I cannot access certain websites on eUKhost network or access cPanel/WHM.

Seems like a small glitch between their network. Glad to know it's all fixed
