    Default Victorious problems

    Hi,

It seems victorious has been down all day and still not up yet. I realise that things go wrong and up until now eukhost have really been excellent.

My only problem with this outage is that as at now (I believe they have been working on it all day) when I go to any of my domains from a bowser I get prompted to save a file, if I save the file and open it with notepad it contains all of my php code for the index.php. This contains database usernames and passwords for mysql_connect and `includes` for each domains access to the domain owners control panels.

I would have thought that the engineers would either have prevented this gross security overisght or at least blocked http during the fix.

as always though the live chat tech support staff were excellent and provided me a solutin to temporarilly stop this, but unless I was sitting here checking for the domains to come back up, I would not have been aware of this security issue.

I am nowhere near as uber techie as your engineers, but please could they try to prevent major security lapses during fixes.

    C

    Hi,

Some php binaries have been copied from another server and we are now recompiling Apache.

I've given detailed explanation in another thread which is located at :- http://www.eukhost.com/forums/f34/victorious-pop3-5931/

We will find out why /usr partition went into read-only mode as Victorious is a high specification Dual Quad Core Intel Xeon E5420 and such problem should not have occurred on Victorious.

All services are back to normal on Victorious. Please let me know if you still see anything wrong with php webpages or pop3 service.

    Error details:--

    Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I'm still unable to access my mail servers. I've sent the details in my support ticket. I'm glad I don't rely on this server for business, feel sorry for those who've been stung by it.

    Hi Robert,

All services on victorious.eukhost.com are back to normal since last night. I would request you to contact our Technical Support department via live chat or email if you are still facing any problems.
