Complete begginer needing help!

Hi,

I've signed up for a hosting account, and am now trying to get a website up and running (britanniatabletennisclub .co .uk). I've stuck a few basic web pages designed in Frontpage in the Public_html folder, but cannot see them if I try to http to the site (also, cannot ping the domain which I guess is the problem?). Am I doing something major wrong (more than likely, I know!!)

Hi Mark,
This sounds something like the domain name hadn't propogated for you. I've just tried from where I am accessing the site and pinging the domain and both are working for me.

What I would suggest is to try again in the morning as if your ISP has a DNS cache you won't be able to get onto the site until that flushes unless you use a proxy.

Thanks for the response. It was a DNS issue (incorrect entry), eUKHost have resolved.
